We love to host special events. It's a great way to meet new friends and to sample FREE beer you may never have tried before. What's not to love?
We have several kinds of events:
- Every Friday and Saturday 6:00pm to close we open bottles of whatever is new, fun, or seasonal that week. The options rotate through the night, so you can always bet we'll have a good variety of beers at any given moment. This is featured at our Convict's Pint tasting bar. On Friday nights we even feature a guest celebrity for an evening of sampling, good people, and good fun. We always have NibblyBits© for snacking too.
- During the week we host breweries. At an event like this we'll have a brewmaster, owner or local rep from the brewery in to sample beers and chat about what they do. We try to do at least one of these events each week. The best way to hear about them is to sign up to our email list and check this page frequently. In 2013 we hosted over 61 of these events in the store.
- We feature monthly educational classes in the store. We believe education about the art, craft, and history of beer is as fun as drinking it. These classes offer you an opportunity to learn specific aspects of beer, whether it's a discussion and sampling of a specific style, brewing techniques, exploring the beer of a country or region, or something completely unique. You must sign up in advance for these classes, which are $10 per person.
Hope to see you at one of these events. Cheers!
